Nashville, TN – Three tornadoes have been confirmed in Middle Tennessee following severe storms that swept through the region last night. According to the U.S. National Weather Service Nashville, preliminary reports show an EF-2 tornado with winds reaching 120 mph touched down in Hampshire/Maury County. The tornado was 400 yards wide and traveled 5.1 miles.

Additionally, an EF-1 tornado with 100 mph winds struck Mt. Pleasant/Maury County, with a width of 300 yards and a path extending 4.1 miles. Another EF-0 tornado, with winds of 85 mph, touched down in Fairview, impacting the Hickman/Williamson County line, measuring 150 yards in width and traveling 2.2 miles.

The weather service is still assessing one more damage site, which may confirm a fourth tornado. As of now, residents in affected areas are urged to remain vigilant as further assessments are conducted.
