However, rain is forecast to arrive late Tuesday night into Christmas Day, with showers expected after midnight and a 40% chance of rain continuing through Wednesday.
Christmas Day is forecast to be partly sunny with a high near 56°F before rain becomes more widespread by evening. By Thursday, temperatures will climb to 60°F under partly sunny skies, offering brief relief from the cold. Overnight lows will remain above freezing midweek, ranging from the upper 40s to low 50s.
Drivers are urged to watch for slick spots on roadways during early morning hours, particularly on overpasses and bridges, as temperatures hover near freezing. Those with outdoor holiday plans are advised to monitor updates on rain chances and adjust accordingly.
The holiday weekend will see continued unsettled weather, with showers likely Friday and into Saturday. Temperatures will remain mild, with highs near 60°F.
