Nashville, TN – Tennesseans should prepare for a wet Saturday night as showers and possible thunderstorms move into the state. After a mild and partly sunny Saturday, rain is expected to develop late in the evening, with a 60% chance of showers in Memphis and a 20% chance in Nashville. Winds will shift north at 10 mph, bringing cooler air into Sunday morning.

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures will remain mild Saturday, with highs in the mid-50s before rain develops overnight. Nashville will see a low around 39, while Memphis will drop to 46. Sunday will bring clearing skies, with highs near 55 across the region.

Monday will see a return to springlike warmth, with sunshine and highs in the upper 60s. By Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures will climb into the low to mid-70s, though rain chances return midweek, with showers and possible thunderstorms expected Wednesday night.

Residents should also remember to set their clocks forward one hour on Sunday, as daylight saving time begins at 2 a.m. The shift means sunrise and sunset will be an hour later, extending daylight into the evening.

Drivers should be cautious on wet roads Saturday night, especially on I-40 and I-65, where slick conditions could develop. Keep an eye on weather updates and prepare for a damp weekend before warmer days return.
