Teen Identified as Victim of Party Stabbing in Kankakee County

ST. ANNE, IL – A 17-year-old teen has been identified as the victim of a serious stabbing at a party in rural St. Anne Sunday.

According to Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police, the incident happened in the 6200 South Block of 5000 East Road at 12:48 a.m. The victim was airlifted a short time later to a Chicago hospital, due to the severity of the inflicted injuries. Investigators report the alleged offender fled well before police arrived. 

Investigators urge anyone with information to contact CrimeStoppers at 815-93-CRIME. The victim’s identity remains undisclosed, and no charges have yet to be filed.
