Tampa, FL – A late-night patrol at Jackson Springs Skate Park led Hillsborough County deputies to a major drug bust early Saturday, December 28, 2025.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, deputies approached a suspicious vehicle parked after hours at the park, located off Sheldon Road. The driver, identified as 26-year-old Santiago Molina, allegedly told deputies he had stopped to make a phone call.

A subsequent search of Molina and his vehicle uncovered several illegal narcotics, including cocaine, ketamine, and MDMA, along with packaging materials, a loaded firearm, and cash. Deputies reported finding additional contraband later during Molina’s intake at the Orient Road Jail.

Authorities say Molina was arrested and charged with multiple felony offenses, including Armed Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Sell or Deliver, and Introduction of Contraband into a Detention Facility.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the source of the seized narcotics.
