Tampa, FL – Florida’s unseasonably warm weather is persisting through the weekend, with near-record overnight low temperatures in the Tampa Bay area. On Saturday, temperatures are expected to peak around 88 degrees, while evening lows will remain unusually high near 70. This warm stretch has already broken records, as multiple sites across the area saw record-high minimums on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

The warm trend will extend into the upcoming days, with conditions remaining mostly dry. According to the NWS, Saturday’s forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with highs close to 88 degrees, and gentle east winds reaching 6 to 9 mph. Saturday night will stay warm, with partly cloudy skies and an expected low around 70. Drivers and outdoor event organizers should plan for unusually warm conditions, especially in the evening.

Sunday will be similar, with high temperatures around 87 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Sunday night will bring slightly cooler but still warm conditions, with a low near 71. Looking ahead to Veterans Day on Monday, a slight chance of afternoon showers could develop, with the possibility of thunderstorms later in the day. Highs are anticipated to hover around 87 degrees, with winds becoming variable. Any outdoor Veterans Day ceremonies or parades should prepare for potential afternoon showers.

The warm weather trend is likely to extend into the midweek, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid-80s expected through Tuesday. For Tampa Bay residents, this unseasonable heat provides a reminder to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged sun exposure, particularly in the midday hours when temperatures are highest.
