Livingston Manor, N.Y. – A fast-moving storm triggered a Tornado Warning Friday afternoon in Sullivan and Delaware counties, with reports of possible damage emerging near Livingston Manor. Radar confirmed a debris signature shortly after 12 p.m., suggesting a tornado may have touched down in the area.

According to the National Weather Service in Binghamton, a warning was issued around midday after rotation and debris were detected on radar. While several accounts of damage have been reported, meteorologists are still awaiting confirmation through pictures, videos, and on-the-ground reports.

Residents around Livingston Manor and Roscoe described sudden high winds and heavy rain, with radar imagery indicating the strongest rotation just north of the Route 17 corridor. Emergency officials are asking residents to avoid storm-damaged areas and remain alert for downed trees, power outages, and blocked roadways.

Additional warnings are possible as the storm system continues to track east across the Catskills. Residents are urged to stay weather-aware and monitor alerts through Friday evening.
