Nashville, TN – A warm, breezy Monday in Middle Tennessee could end with scattered storms packing strong winds and hail, especially north of Interstate 40.

According to the National Weather Service Nashville, the highest storm risk spans between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. Monday. While the overall threat remains low, forecasters warned that isolated cells may produce hail and damaging winds. The impacted zone includes areas mainly along and north of I-40, affecting parts of Davidson, Sumner, and Wilson counties.

Residents are urged to secure loose outdoor items due to gusty conditions that may intensify if storms develop. Monday’s temperatures are expected to reach the low to mid-80s before a cold front brings relief.

Tuesday will bring a cooler, breezy shift with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Lows will dip into the 40s overnight. The remainder of the week will trend warmer, with temperatures rebounding into the 70s by Thursday and possibly reaching the 80s again by Sunday.

Drivers along I-40 should be cautious during the Monday evening commute. Flashy conditions, gusty winds, and isolated hailstorms could quickly reduce visibility and pose hazards. Stay updated through weather.gov or local alerts for any developments.
