Stonington, IL – The Christian County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a burglary that occurred early Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Stoney’s Slots in Stonington, IL. The incident took place at 117 East Fourth Street, where unknown individuals reportedly broke into the establishment during the early morning hours.

Once inside, the suspects allegedly damaged a video poker machine and stole cash. The entry caused further damage to a door and window. The total estimated loss from theft and damages exceeds $16,000.
