By Sunday, rain chances drop to around 20%, mainly across southern Illinois, with highs recovering into the lower to middle 80s.
Communities including St. Louis, St. Charles, Jefferson City, Columbia, Farmington, Belleville and surrounding areas should monitor forecasts closely Friday, especially if outdoor events are planned.
