St. Louis, MO – More snow is expected in the St. Louis area through Wednesday morning as a Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 a.m. The National Weather Service warns that an additional 1 to 5 inches of snow could make travel hazardous, especially during the morning and evening commutes.
According to the National Weather Service, snowfall will continue overnight into Wednesday, with low temperatures around 9°F and wind chills near zero. Roads, including I-70 and I-44, may be slick with reduced visibility. Officials urge drivers to slow down and allow extra time for travel.
By Wednesday afternoon, conditions will improve with partly sunny skies and a high near 18°F, though the bitter cold persists. Temperatures will slowly climb as the week progresses, reaching the upper 20s by Friday and near 40°F this weekend as an arctic front moves out.
