St. Louis: Juvenile Arrested After 15-Year-Old Fatally Shot at Gas Station

St. Louis, MO – A juvenile is in custody after a 15-year-old boy died in a gas station shooting on November 12.

Officers responded to the Speedy Gas Station on N. Broadway around 1:40 a.m. They discovered a male, later identified as Jamar Hamilton of Glasgow Village, suffering gunshot wounds. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.

Detectives believe Hamilton and a group exchanged gunfire with another vehicle’s occupants. Police have not released details on the confrontation’s cause.

On November 12, officers arrested a 17-year-old on an unrelated offense. Authorities later tied the juvenile to Hamilton’s killing. Prosecutors charged the teen with first-degree murder, assault, armed criminal action, tampering, and unlawful weapon use.
