By Wednesday, a high near 78°F is expected, with light southwest winds picking up to 10-15 mph. Clouds will increase in the evening, and a slight chance of showers may develop before dawn Thursday. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph overnight.
Thursday marks the first day of spring, and New Orleans will see a sunny, breezy day with a high near 65°F. The weekend forecast remains mild, with highs in the upper 70s and partly cloudy skies.
Drivers along I-10 should be mindful of gusty winds Wednesday night, which could impact high-profile vehicles. Residents should also prepare for potential rain late Wednesday.
Looking ahead, Friday and Saturday will bring continued warm temperatures, with highs in the upper 70s and mild winds. A slight chance of showers returns Sunday.
