Spotsylvania County, VA – Four 17-year-old males have been charged following a months-long investigation into a series of vape shop burglaries across Spotsylvania County, according to the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies investigated four separate breaking and entering incidents that occurred between Feb. 25 and July 7, 2026, at vape shops located in the 10800 block of Falcon Drive (two incidents), the 10200 block of Southpoint Parkway, and the 10600 block of Courthouse Road.
Investigators executed a search warrant at a Spotsylvania County residence on July 14, where they recovered a large quantity of vape products, smoking devices, and other evidence believed to be connected to the burglaries.
According to the sheriff’s office, additional search warrants were carried out at multiple residences on July 16, leading to the seizure of more vape products and evidence. Detectives said the investigation indicates the suspects were allegedly involved in a criminal enterprise to sell merchandise stolen from the businesses.
The four juveniles, all 17-year-old Spotsylvania County residents, have been charged with:
- Four counts of breaking and entering
- Four counts of conspiracy to commit a felony
- Four counts of larceny with intent to sell
- Four counts of felony destruction of property
All four juveniles were turned over to the Juvenile Detention Center, according to the sheriff’s office. Investigators said additional charges may be forthcoming as the investigation continues.
The allegations against the juveniles have been made by law enforcement, and the charges have not been proven in court.
