Spartanburg, SC – South Carolina residents can expect an active weather pattern this week, with scattered showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon and evening. More intense thunderstorms will develop tonight, according to the US National Weather Service Greenville-Spartanburg. A moist and unsettled pattern will persist into Monday, affecting much of the region.

The forecast shows highs running slightly below normal today, reaching 87°F with a 30% chance of rain. By Monday, temperatures will rise to 83°F with a 75% chance of thunderstorms, which will likely bring heavier rainfall. The unsettled weather will continue into Tuesday, with a high of 89°F and a 45% chance of rain.

Midweek brings a significant warming trend. On Wednesday, expect partly cloudy skies and a high of 93°F. By Thursday and Friday, temperatures will soar into the mid-90s, reaching 95°F under mostly sunny skies. The heat index values are projected to hit the triple digits, emphasizing the need for caution during outdoor activities.
