Boston, MA – Southern New England is enjoying abundant sunshine and mild temperatures as clear skies prevail across the region. Boston is set for sunny weather with highs in the mid-70s, continuing a trend of above-seasonal warmth through the week.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Boston, today’s temperatures across the region are expected to reach between 70°F and 80°F. Locations like Worcester, Pittsfield, and Great Barrington will experience highs near 78°F, while coastal areas like Nantucket and Provincetown will hover around 70°F.

Thursday and Friday will see sunny to partly cloudy conditions with highs in the low to mid-70s. The region may experience some showers by Sunday, with a 40% chance of rain. However, temperatures are expected to remain mild, reaching highs of 74°F.

The pleasant weather is ideal for outdoor activities, as the region sees slightly warmer-than-normal conditions for early September. With minimal rain forecasted, residents of Boston and the surrounding area can anticipate favorable conditions for most of the upcoming week.
