Winds are anticipated to gust up to 16 mph, contributing to an air quality alert in effect until 12:00 PM MDT on Friday. Residents are advised to limit outdoor activities due to potential health risks from the poor air quality.
The extended forecast for Boise shows a trend of hot temperatures continuing into next week. On Friday, the high is predicted to be 93°F, followed by 90°F on Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures will remain in the low to mid-90s through the beginning of next week, with a slight dip to 88°F on Wednesday.
