Miami, FL – South Floridians can expect warm, above-average temperatures to continue through midweek, with highs reaching the upper 80s on Tuesday. Breezy conditions and a slight chance of rain will bring some variation in what’s otherwise a mostly dry and warm forecast. Residents should be prepared for gusty winds, particularly on Wednesday, as a cool front moves through the area.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) Miami, Tuesday will see temperatures climbing to about 86 degrees in Miami, with similar highs across South Florida. Rain chances are low, ranging from 11% to 20%, depending on location, which means most areas will stay dry. By Wednesday, rain chances increase slightly, with a 20% chance of showers expected in Miami. The arrival of a cold front will bring breezy winds, gusting up to 26 mph, especially along coastal areas like Fort Lauderdale.

NWS Miami advises those commuting or traveling on highways, such as I-95 and the Dolphin Expressway, to be cautious as the gusty winds could impact driving conditions. North and northeast winds are expected to reach 14 mph to 21 mph by Wednesday night, reinforcing the need for safe driving practices on elevated bridges and exposed roadways.

Looking further ahead, Thursday and Friday will bring a slight cooldown, with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. These mild temperatures will be accompanied by drier air and sunny skies as the weekend approaches. South Florida residents can anticipate clear skies and lower humidity into Saturday and Sunday, making for pleasant outdoor conditions.

Stay tuned for further updates as weather conditions evolve, especially regarding Wednesday’s breezy weather, which could affect outdoor plans.
