Sioux Falls, SD – Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected across South Dakota tonight, with rain continuing into early Thursday. The storms may bring lightning and localized rain, though the risk of severe weather remains low. Temperatures tonight will drop into the mid-60s.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Sioux Falls, the storm system will exit the area by Thursday morning. Once the storms pass, dry and cooler conditions will prevail for the next several days. Daytime highs are expected to range from 68°F to 75°F through Sunday, while lows will drop to the 40s.

The NWS anticipates sunny skies for much of the weekend, with temperatures peaking in the mid-70s by Sunday. Residents are encouraged to monitor forecasts for any changes but can expect a pleasant weather pattern after Thursday.
