Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon, particularly in the western regions such as Del Rio and Uvalde.
The heat intensifies mid-week, with Wednesday’s temperatures climbing to 104°F. Isolated storms might develop in areas like Pleasanton and Carrizo Springs. Thursday and Friday will continue the trend of extreme heat, with highs remaining around 106°F. Heat advisories are possible, urging residents to take precautions against heat-related illnesses.
