South Bend, IN – South Bend Police are investigating a homicide on the city’s west side.
On Tuesday around 10:40 p.m., South Bend Police responded to a ShotSpotter notification in the 3600 block of W. Sample Street. According to the South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit, officers found 20-year-old Isaiah Walton-Davis with an apparent gunshot wound. Walton-Davis succumbed to his injuries.
Walton-Davis’ autopsy is scheduled for today in Kalamazoo. Authorities are urging anyone with information to share anonymous tips with Michiana Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP. The investigation is ongoing, and police are actively seeking leads to identify and apprehend the suspect involved in this tragic incident.
