SOMERSET, PA – Pennsylvania State Police are investigating two arson fires reported this month in the Listonburg area of Addison Township, where both affected properties were owned by the same individual and resulted in complete losses.

According to Pennsylvania State Police Troop A Fire Marshal Unit in Greensburg, the first fire was reported on November 7, 2025, at a remote cabin along 2975 Listonburg Road. Investigators believe the fire occurred within the previous two to three weeks and determined it was intentionally set.

A second fire occurred on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at a vacant house on 154 Mount Davis Road. Troopers say the blaze was also ruled an arson and destroyed the structure.

Police confirmed the cabin and the vacant home were owned by the same victim. No injuries were reported in either incident, and authorities have not released information on any suspects.

According to investigators, anyone with knowledge of the fires is urged to contact Trooper Sobecki at (724) 832-3256 or Trooper Ramsden at (814) 472-1653. Anonymous information can also be submitted through PSP Tips at 1-800-472-8477 or online at the department’s tip portal.

State Police note that callers may be eligible for a cash reward if information leads to an arrest, solves a crime or cold case, or provides the location of a wanted person or missing individual. All unsolved cases qualify for reward consideration when tips help resolve the investigation.

Residents living near the Listonburg and Mount Davis Road areas are encouraged to report suspicious activity as the arson investigation continues.
