According to the National Weather Service Omaha/Valley, snowfall totals ranged from 2 to 7 inches, with the highest amounts near the Nebraska-Iowa border. The storm created hazardous travel conditions, with icy roads and reduced visibility affecting commuters.
Officials urged drivers to slow down and allow extra travel time. Plows worked throughout the day to clear major highways and city streets.
