Boston, MA – A winter weather advisory has been issued for parts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, with snow expected to accumulate between 2 and 4 inches by early Saturday.

The National Weather Service announced the advisory Friday morning, cautioning residents to prepare for slippery road conditions. The advisory affects cities including Boston, Worcester, Cambridge, Providence, and Brockton, remaining in effect until 4 a.m. Saturday.
