Meanwhile, the NWS in Amarillo, TX, has issued a winter weather advisory for the central and eastern Oklahoma Panhandle and the southern and eastern Texas Panhandle. Snow is expected to begin at 9 p.m. CST Friday and persist until midnight Saturday night, with accumulations ranging from 1 to 5 inches.
