Green Bay, WI – A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect through early Sunday morning for much of central and northeastern Wisconsin.

The National Weather Service (NWS) warns of mixed snow and freezing rain across counties including Marathon, Outagamie, Shawano, and Menominee. Snow accumulation may reach one inch, with ice accumulations up to one-tenth of an inch expected. Hazardous travel conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses, are anticipated.

According to the NWS, the advisory is set to expire at 6 a.m. CST for central Wisconsin and 9 a.m. CST for northeastern regions. Drivers are urged to slow down, use caution, and check road conditions by dialing 511. Foot traffic should also exercise care, as sidewalks and driveways may become icy.

Residents should prepare for slippery conditions and plan additional travel time. The weather service advises against unnecessary travel during the advisory period.
