Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued for Northeast Montana Until 10PM

Billings, MT – A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of northeast Montana until 10 PM CDT Saturday.

According to the NOAA NWS Storm Prediction Center, damaging gusts and large hail greater than 2 inches are possible, with strong to severe storms expected this afternoon and evening. The primary threats include scattered large hail, isolated very large hail events up to 2.5 inches in diameter, and damaging wind gusts reaching 70 mph.
