These regions could see severe thunderstorms, bringing large hail, damaging winds, and the possibility of isolated tornadoes. Travelers along major highways, including U.S. Highways 70 and 84 in New Mexico and U.S. Highway 62 in Texas, should be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions and possible delays due to storm-related hazards.
