Naperville, IL – The City of Naperville, in collaboration with Naperville Responds for Veterans, will hold its annual September 11 remembrance event. This year’s ceremony, marking the 23rd anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attacks, will take place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 11. The event is set at the Cmdr. Dan Shanower Memorial, located behind the Naperville Municipal Center at 400 S. Eagle St., along the Riverwalk.
