Seattle, Wash. – The Pacific Northwest is expected to remain warm and mostly dry through October 14, a stretch that favors outdoor fall festivals, pumpkin patches, and early Halloween decorating. Afternoon highs will continue to sit above seasonal averages, with precipitation running below normal across much of the region.

According to the National Weather Service, the 8-to-14-day outlook signals above-normal temperatures paired with drier-than-average conditions from western Washington through Oregon and into northern Idaho. That means limited storm activity and extended runs of dry weather.

Seattle and Portland will see highs in the mid-60s to near 70, while Spokane and Boise trend slightly cooler but still mild for October. While this weather supports outdoor activities, officials caution that drought and fire danger remain elevated in some eastern valleys and foothills. Residents should stay mindful of local burn restrictions.

The dry, warm stretch is expected to last through October 14, with little sign of a major storm system reaching the coast before mid-month.
