Schaumburg, IL – A Schaumburg man has been sentenced to 26 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for robbing two DuPage County cell phone stores at gunpoint.

According to DuPage County State’s Attorney Robert Berlin, Stephon Little, 31, who now goes by Isa Al Ahad, was sentenced for a 2019 robbery of a Wheaton Sprint store and a 2022 robbery of a Hinsdale Verizon store. Little received a 21-year sentence for the Wheaton robbery and a 26-year sentence for the Hinsdale robbery, to be served concurrently.

On November 27, 2019, Little was charged with robbing a Wheaton Sprint store of $40,000 worth of merchandise. He posted bond in December 2019. While out on bond and under electronic monitoring, Little allegedly robbed a Hinsdale Verizon store on June 16, 2022, taking approximately 60 Apple products. He was taken into custody the same day in Ford Heights.

Little pled guilty to two counts of armed robbery with a firearm, a Class X felony, in February 2024. He faced an enhanced sentence due to the use of a firearm, with a potential range of 21 to 90 years. The State had requested a 60-year sentence.
