San Diego, CA – Snowfall and hazardous travel conditions are expected across parts of Southern California as a winter weather advisory remains in effect. The advisory covers the San Diego County Mountains and the Apple and Lucerne Valleys.

According to the National Weather Service, the San Diego County Mountains will see snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches, with some areas receiving up to 6 inches. The advisory for this region is active until 4 p.m. Monday, with slippery roads likely to disrupt the morning commute.

In the Apple and Lucerne Valleys, including Victorville, Hesperia, and Apple Valley, a mix of rain and snow will bring up to one inch of accumulation near the San Bernardino foothills. This advisory is in place until 10 a.m. Monday.

Drivers are urged to reduce speed and exercise caution, especially on bridges and overpasses, which are prone to icing. Travelers can access up-to-date road conditions by calling 511.

Officials recommend delaying travel if possible and preparing for delays during the Monday commute.
