San Diego, CA – A wind advisory has been issued for several Southern California regions, including San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties, as gusty winds of up to 65 mph are expected to continue until 2 a.m. Wednesday.

According to the National Weather Service, the strongest winds will hit San Diego County coastal areas, Inland Empire, and surrounding areas, with gusts reaching 35 mph. The Coachella Valley is expected to experience gusts up to 55 mph, while the San Diego County deserts could see winds as strong as 65 mph. These winds may cause power outages, blow around unsecured objects, and reduce visibility due to blowing dust in some areas.

The advisory covers a wide area, including major cities such as San Diego, Riverside, Anaheim, San Bernardino, and Palm Springs. Drivers, particularly those in high-profile vehicles, are urged to use extra caution due to the difficult driving conditions created by the gusty winds.

The advisory remains in effect until 2 a.m. Wednesday, and the public is encouraged to secure outdoor items and avoid unnecessary travel during the wind event.
