Wilmington, DE – Delaware State Police are investigating a road rage incident involving a gun that occurred Thursday on I-95 in Wilmington.
According to police, troopers responded around 12:50 p.m. to the 900 block of Concord Avenue for a report of a driver threatened with a firearm. Investigators determined that a 48-year-old man was driving on the I-95 northbound ramp when a U-Haul box truck, driven by an unidentified Black male suspect, began tailgating him. The victim slowed down, but the suspect pulled alongside him. The two exchanged words before the suspect allegedly pointed a gun at the victim and then sped away. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
