Restricted Parking for West Chicago Railroad Days

West Chicago, Ill. — West Chicago announced restricted parking areas for Railroad Days, which begins today through this weekend. The areas noted will be closed off on both sides of the streets through 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 29.

West Chicago has created a map highlighting the roads with restricted parking this weekend. Roads include Brown Street, Kenwood Avenue, Lyman Avenue, Sherman Street and Pomeroy Avenue. Parking is restricted on both sides of these streets surrounding Pioneer Park where the festival is located.

Railroad Days, organized by the Western DuPage Chamber of Commerce, features live music, a carnival, children’s activities and a fireworks display. The event is sponsored by the CIty of West Chicago.

There will be a shuttle provided on Thursday, June 26m from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. The shuttle will be available starting at the same time but ending at 11:30 p.m. on Friday, June 27. On Saturday, June 28, and Sunday, June 29, the shuttle will start making rounds at 1:00 p.m. The shuttle will end pick-ups at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and 10:30 p.m. on Sunday. Shuttles will arrive in fifteen minute intervals. Pick-ups will be at the parking area at the end of Factory Street by the intersection with Blair Street. The drop off location is outside Pioneer Park at the intersection of Brown Street and Lyman Avenue.
