Kankakee, IL — Several parks and recreational areas in Kankakee will be closed this week in preparation for the annual Regatta Weekend. The Kankakee Valley Park District announced that closures will begin on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., affecting Beckman Park and Beckman Boat Harbor.
According to the Kankakee Valley Park District, additional closures will start Thursday, impacting River Road Park, River Road Boat Launch, River Run Dog Park, and Pirate Ship Park.
