Forecast models show rain chances peaking Tuesday night through early Wednesday (40–65% for much of central and eastern North Carolina). Areas including Rocky Mount, Fayetteville, and Goldsboro may see brief thunderstorms.
By Thanksgiving Day, high pressure returns, bringing clear skies and mild temperatures in the upper 50s to mid-60s. Cooler, breezy conditions arrive Friday and Saturday, with morning lows dipping into the 30s and low 40s.
