Rain Chances and Summer Heat Continue in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula Next Week

Marquette, MI – The Upper Peninsula will continue to see summer-like warmth, with highs reaching the mid-80s through the weekend and into next week. Despite hazy skies today, residents can expect a chance of rain by Sunday, especially over the western half of the region.

According to the National Weather Service in Marquette, today’s high temperatures will range from 75 to 87 degrees. Rain chances increase Saturday evening into Sunday, particularly in the western part of Upper Michigan, though overall precipitation is expected to be light. Temperatures throughout the weekend will remain warm, peaking between 76 and 84 degrees.

Residents should plan for cooler nights, with lows dipping into the mid-50s tonight and through the weekend. If you’re spending time outdoors, keep an eye on the forecast for potential rain showers and remember to stay hydrated as the late summer heat persists.
