Pueblo Forecast: Storms and 20-Degree Drop Expected by Thursday

Pueblo, CO – Pueblo and surrounding areas will experience another hot day today, with temperatures ranging from the 70s to 90s. However, relief is on the way as a significant drop in temperatures is expected Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service in Pueblo, a storm system will move in late this afternoon and linger through Thursday. This front will drop temperatures by around 20 degrees, bringing a much-needed break from the heat. Showers and thunderstorms are expected as part of this weather shift.

The storm system will bring precipitation chances as high as 55% across much of southern Colorado. Areas like Pueblo and Colorado Springs could see cooler temperatures ranging from the 50s to the 70s tomorrow. Higher elevations may even experience a dusting of snow, including Pikes Peak.

Residents should prepare for thunderstorms and the dramatic cool-down. Weather conditions could affect outdoor plans and travel over the next 24 to 48 hours.
