Louisville, KY – Thunderstorms are expected to develop this evening across Louisville and surrounding areas, bringing potential gusty winds and small hail. According to the US National Weather Service Louisville Kentucky, storms may begin as early as late afternoon and persist through the overnight hours, posing a risk for brief severe weather.

The severe weather outlook highlights the possibility of damaging winds and hail, particularly from 5 PM to 11 PM ET. Residents should stay alert for weather updates and be prepared for possible severe conditions. Additionally, today’s high temperature is forecasted to reach 95°F with cloudy skies transitioning to clearer conditions by late afternoon.

Wednesday’s forecast predicts a high of 89°F with a 45% chance of showers, offering some relief from the current heat. The temperatures for the rest of the week will range between the high 80s and mid-90s. Thursday and Friday will see highs of 87°F and 90°F, respectively, under mostly sunny skies. The weekend temperatures are expected to rise again, with Saturday reaching a high of 96°F and Sunday cooling slightly to 88°F.
