Oswego, IL – A 16-year-old male was arrested after a fight broke out at PrairieFest on Saturday night, leading to a significant disturbance and resulting in multiple trespassing charges.
According to the Village of Oswego Police, the altercation occurred at approximately 8:32 p.m. on the festival grounds, involving a large group of juveniles. The situation escalated quickly, drawing the attention of festival-goers and security personnel. Police arrived on the scene to find several individuals involved in the confrontation.
The arrested 16-year-old faces charges related to the fight, while two other juveniles were trespassed from the event, preventing their return to the festival. The police indicated that there might be additional charges as the investigation continues.
