According to the Oakland County Sheriffโ€™s Office, the incident occurred around 7:49 p.m. near West South Boulevard and Highland Avenue. Deputies responded to reports of multiple people shot, locating the 18-year-old victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. The man was unresponsive when authorities arrived, and despite life-saving measures by deputies and paramedics from the Waterford Regional Fire Department, he died after being transported to a local hospital.

A second victim, identified as a 19-year-old Pontiac man, was transported to the hospital by a citizen. According to officials, he was taken into surgery and is expected to survive. A third victim was located but was not injured.

Two suspects were allegedly taken into custody a short time after the shooting, and deputies are seeking two additional individuals in connection with the case.
