A winter weather advisory remains in effect for portions of Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia, with snow, ice, and strong winds expected to impact travel through Monday.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Pittsburgh, mixed precipitation will continue across the region Saturday morning, causing slick roads. Snow accumulations of up to two inches are possible in parts of Pennsylvania, while ice will create hazardous driving conditions.

A second advisory takes effect from 1 p.m. Sunday through 3 p.m. Monday for Eastern Preston and Eastern Tucker counties in West Virginia. This system could bring between 2 and 4 inches of snow, with wind gusts up to 60 mph. These conditions may cause power outages and tree damage.

Motorists are advised to use caution, particularly during the Monday morning commute. The NWS urges residents to report snow and ice accumulations via phone, Facebook, or Twitter. Travelers should slow down and remain vigilant on icy roads.
