Phoenix, AZ — A public meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 19, to discuss the upcoming Loop 101 widening project between 75th Avenue and Interstate 17. The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) will host the event in partnership with the cities of Glendale and Phoenix, and the Maricopa Association of Governments.

According to ADOT, the project will add one general-purpose lane in each direction on Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway). Construction is expected to begin in late September. The public meeting will offer an overview of the project and what commuters can expect during construction.

ADOT encourages community members to attend, but those unable to participate can view the presentation on the project website afterward. The expansion aims to alleviate traffic congestion and improve road safety along this heavily traveled corridor.

For more information, including meeting details and construction updates, visit the ADOT project website.
