Philadelphia, PA – A dry and sunny start to the week is on tap for southeastern Pennsylvania, but a rain-snow mix could disrupt plans by Friday.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday will bring mostly sunny skies with a high of 41°F, accompanied by calm west winds that may gust up to 25 mph. The clear weather will continue through Tuesday, with partly sunny skies and a high near 42°F. Breezy conditions are expected to develop by Tuesday evening.

By midweek, temperatures will climb slightly, with Wednesday forecasted to hit a high of 48°F under partly sunny skies. However, residents should remain alert for potential precipitation Friday and Saturday, as colder air moves in, bringing a chance of rain transitioning into snow. While the timing and intensity of the storm remain uncertain, officials urge those traveling to monitor forecasts closely and prepare for potentially hazardous road conditions along key routes such as I-95 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Nights throughout the week will see lows dipping into the mid-20s to low 30s, which may create icy patches during morning commutes. Saturday is expected to stay cold, with highs only reaching the upper 30s.

Residents are encouraged to secure outdoor items ahead of gusty winds and prepare for shifting weather by Friday. Stay tuned for updates on the late-week storm system as forecasts evolve.
