Philadelphia, PA – A chilly Friday morning greets the region, with light snow expected across parts of South Jersey and the Delmarva Peninsula, according to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly.

Snow began moving in early this morning and may continue through mid-morning, bringing up to one inch of accumulation in some areas—mainly south of Philadelphia, including Vineland, Atlantic City, and Salisbury. Roads may become slippery in spots, particularly on bridges and untreated surfaces.

For the rest of the region, including Philadelphia, Trenton, and Allentown, only flurries or very light rain/snow are expected later today with no significant accumulation. Temperatures will stay cold, with highs in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Residents across the region are urged to bundle up as wind chills remain near freezing through the morning. Skies will remain mostly cloudy into the afternoon before gradual clearing tonight.
