Pennsylvania – Water is already creeping onto low-lying roads along the Delaware River this morning, with slick pavement and gray skies slowing traffic across Philadelphia and nearby New Jersey suburbs. Visibility sits near 8 miles, but standing water and steady rain are the bigger concern right now, especially near I-95, Columbus Boulevard, and flood-prone intersections.

According to the National Weather Service in Mount Holly, a Coastal Flood Advisory remains in effect until 6 a.m., with up to 1 foot of inundation possible in tidal zones. Flooding is most likely along vulnerable roadways near the Delaware River, including parts of Philadelphia, Camden, and Gloucester County. Some roads may close temporarily as water covers curbs and drainage backs up.

Rain continues through the morning with a 90% chance of showers, tapering later in the day. Winds could gust near 30 mph, pushing water inland and adding to travel delays. Drivers should avoid water-covered roads and allow extra time, especially on I-76 and Route 130. Do not attempt to drive through flooded streets—depth can change quickly.

Conditions improve tonight as skies clear and temperatures fall into the low 40s. Monday stays relatively calm, but attention quickly shifts to a sharp cooldown. A Freeze Watch takes effect late Monday night into Tuesday morning, with temperatures dropping to near 30°F. Sensitive plants and early-season crops could be damaged, and exposed pipes may be at risk.

By Tuesday afternoon, sunshine returns with highs near 56°F, followed by a noticeable warm-up into the upper 60s by Wednesday. A few showers may return midweek, but for now, drier and milder spring air is on the horizon.
