Philadelphia, PA – Pennsylvania residents should prepare for a potential shift in the weather as isolated thunderstorms are possible in the next 48 hours. The National Weather Service (NWS) has forecasted mostly sunny skies with low humidity today, but a few isolated showers or thunderstorms may develop later in the afternoon, primarily along the I-80 corridor. Temperatures are expected to range between 75-86°F.
According to the NWS, Thursday will bring slightly warmer conditions, with highs reaching between 78-88°F. While most of the state will enjoy partly sunny skies, isolated thunderstorms may again be possible, especially in northern New Jersey and near the I-80 corridor. As the day progresses, the humidity will begin to increase, setting the stage for more unsettled weather.
Friday’s forecast calls for continued warmth, with temperatures ranging from 78-88°F. Clouds will increase throughout the day, and by late afternoon or evening, scattered showers and thunderstorms could develop, especially in the southeastern regions, including Philadelphia.
