According to the Peoria Police Department, the original incident occurred November 21, 2025, around 9:37 p.m. in the 1800 block of North Missouri Avenue. Officers responded to reports that a 17-year-old male was approached by approximately five male suspects, allegedly armed with handguns, who took his belongings and physically assaulted him before fleeing on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries.

Police initially searched the area but did not locate the suspects. Following continued investigation, detectives identified and arrested two juvenile suspects on January 3, 2026. Both, ages 15 and 17, were taken into custody and transported to the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center on charges including armed robbery and aggravated battery, according to police.

Authorities provided an update stating that on March 19, 2026, at approximately 6:00 p.m., officers observed 20-year-old Jorden J. Foster leaving a vehicle in the 2300 block of NE Adams Street. Officers made contact and took Foster into custody without incident.

Following questioning, Foster was allegedly charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a firearm without a FOID card, and domestic battery. He was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
