A Peoria McDonald’s on the 7700 block of N. University was robbed Monday night.
According to the Peoria Police Department, officers responded at approximately 9:52 p.m. to a report of a robbery. The suspect, a masked male, allegedly entered the establishment, implied he had a handgun, and took an undisclosed amount of currency before fleeing on foot. No injuries were reported. Officers searched the area but did not locate the suspect. The incident is under investigation.
